TEAKWOOD: The Origin Story
The name TEAKWOOD Noble Rum was born on a late September evening at Chicago’s DuSable Harbor, aboard a yacht surrounded by close friends and neat pours. As we marveled over a glass of rum based on the resurrected 1920 family recipe, our eyes kept drawing to the vessel’s exquisite interior. The deep, amber glow of the rum perfectly mirrored the luxurious, polished teakwood trim of the yacht. While this exceptional spirit owes its complex, velvety finish to patient aging in fine French oak— not actual teak wood—the name felt undeniable.
It remains a permanent tribute to that moment of pure awe, classic maritime craftsmanship, and the sophisticated spirit of a truly noble rum.

The ‘GOLD COAST’ –
Chicago’s Signature Cocktail
The GOLD COAST is a sophisticated bridge between lakeside elegance and sundrenched shores, paying homage to both Chicago’s historic luxury and the vibrant Australian coastline. This refined cocktail features the complex, structured depth of TEAKWOOD Noble Rum—layered with notes of sweet pear, delicate vanilla, and subtle leather—balanced beautifully by a rich, red herbal Italian Vermouth.
A crisp dash of Cointreau adds a bright flash of citrus, delivering a fresh, summery lift while maintaining the timeless, stately posture of a classic Manhattan. Served in Old Fashioned glass or elevated, martini glass for those who enjoy Cosmopolitan.
